Healthy streets allow people of all ages and backgrounds to walk, cycle and spend time outdoors - without being intimidated by traffic.
Ask 2: Safe, direct walking & cycling routes
The motor traffic dominating many of Westminster's roads makes journeys on foot unpleasant, polluted and unsafe, and journeys by bike seem to be the reserve of the brave.
Ask 3: Make school streets traffic-free at school run hours
There are too many cars on the Westminster school run. We’re all aware of how much more traffic there is in term time than in school holidays.
Ask 4: Turn car parking into spaces for people and greenery
Are parked cars the best use of kerbside space on our streets? Or does it simply encourage short journeys by car, and leave less space for other, more people-friendly uses?
